I am certain that everyone would agree that sometimes it feels like the holiday season stirs up quite a mixed bag of emotions in us.

Let me acknowledge that you are not alone if you feel fulfilled when you donate to a shelter, a food bank or a less fortunate family.

You are not alone if you feel frustrated when you would like to do more but can’t.

You are not alone if you feel saddened when you hear of misfortunes happening to people in your community, your country and all over the world, especially at this time.

You are not alone if you feel angry that people don’t see things they ought to be seeing and feel things they ought to be feeling.

  • You are not alone if you question your purpose for being here.
  • You are not alone if you are in the midst of conflict at work or at home.
  • You are not alone if you feel like you’re riding a roller coaster. Happy one day, serene the next, thankful, hopeful, tired, anxious, hurried, fed up, broke, up, down, cheerful, lonely, unloved, guilt-ridden, loved….

Here are a few questions to ponder:

  • What makes these feelings more prevalent over the holidays?
  • What does the holiday season mean to you?
  • Who chooses how you feel?
  • How do you want to feel over the holidays?
  • If you’re not feeling the way you’d like, what then is stopping you from summoning your desired feelings right now?

Often times we rely on others to make us feel the way we would like to feel and just as often we are disappointed. Wouldn’t you agree?

So what if this year, this minute, you set an intention to live and feel the way you want to feel.

Let yourself feel - whatever you wish to feel.

How you choose to feel, you will feel. Good or not.
Rely on nothing but yourself. Rely on nobody but yourself.

Whether it’s the holiday season or any other day of the year, we can give ourselves the gift of choice, the gift of inner peace – for at least a moment and at most a lifetime.

My wish for you today is that you choose HAPPINESS, HARMONY and PEACE above all and once you’ve experienced it to share it with others…

Happy Holidays to All

Dear Friends,

Living well requires balance.
We offset and justify working hard when we are able to take quality time to rest, replenish and reward ourselves.

On that note, Truepath Coaching will be closed from December 8th to the 16th.

Until then,
Whoever you are
Wherever you reside
At this moment
Do whatever you can
With whatever you have…

You have a dream or a driving desire….You don’t know where to start or you’re afraid to act…You know you have skills or you think you do and want to develop them…What are you prepared to do today, tomorrow, the next day toward fulfilling that dream?

First think about what ‘a dream’ means to you. For some, a dream come true might be to reconnect with their spouse and enjoy a harmonious and mutually meaningful relationship. Someone else’s dream might be to start a business and see it evolve and succeed or go back to school or land a job they love or help the impoverished of the world or a combination of the above.

What ever your dream may be, we all know that dreams happen when you make them happen. If you are not fulfilling your dreams or desires, here are just a few possible roadblocks to consider that may be stopping you:

  • YOU DON’T KNOW WHERE TO BEGIN
  • LACK OF MOTIVATION
  • UNABLE TO RECOGNIZE YOUR STRENGTHS AND TALENTS
  • HESITANT TO SEEK GUIDANCE
  • LACK OF KNOWLEDGE AND/OR EXPERIENCE
  • WAITING FOR A BETTER TIME
  • YOU BELIEVE YOU ARE NOT GOOD ENOUGH OR DESERVING ENOUGH OR SAVVY ENOUGH
  • WAITING FOR THE BALL TO DROP
  • NOT IDENTIFYING A SPECIFIC GOAL, GIVING IT YOUR COMPLETE FOCUS AND TAKING ACTION
  • EXPERIENCING SELF DOUBT AND FEAR
  • DON’T HAVE A PLAN
  • DON’T HAVE A SUPPORT SYSTEM IN PLACE

Which of these roadblocks apply to you?

  • What else is standing in your way?
  • How do you bypass those roadblocks?
  • How committed are you to finding out?
  • How much do you want your dream to come true?

Your know-how, taking action, having the right mindset LESS doubts and fears, creates the movement that takes you to your personal dreams.

THE FIRST STEP TO OVERCOMING ROADBLOCKS IS TO RECOGNIZE WHAT THE ROADBLOCKS ARE. THE NEXT STEP IS TO TAKE A STEP.

This is something for you to think about – you know who you are.

Some of you have asked me to suggest a few good books on healing relationships. Although there are a number of excellent ones on the market, here are two that make it to the top of my list.

  1. How One of You Can Bring the Two of You Together” by Susan Page
  2. ”Relationship Rescue” by Phillip C. McGraw, PhD.

The question is what will you do with these books?  On our life’s journey there are many paths and opportunities that appear from which we can choose to embark on. Our choices teach us valuable lessons along the way. These paths and opportunities arise and may go unnoticed one day but the next may bring with it a new light, a new insight and always, choice. So, what will you choose to do with these books?

  • Some of us will look at the titles and make a remark
  • Some of us will skim through one and put it away
  • Some of us will read one and move on to the other, then another
  • Some of us will take action
  • Some of us will wait for the other to take action
  • Some of us will never take action
  • Some of us will take charge
  • Some of us will wait for the other to take charge
  • Some of us will want to change
  • Some of us will defy change

Everyone will make a choice and everyone will learn   something.

Good luck on your journey,
